On our third occurrence at the Kasarani Complex, the Mombasa Triathlon has gained support and recognition at the International Triathlon Union ITU and welcoming an ever increasing number of participants from across the globe.

The event is designed to be an ultimate challenge for amateurs but with a key feature of professional competition where full time athletes compete for prize money. The ITU Mombasa Triathlon is one of the Africa’s most interesting triathlon events, offering you a great choice of distances and participation formats;

Challenge yourself at the Full-distance or try it for the first time at the half-distance or quarter distance, there’s also team competitions for 2-3 person relays and Corporate Teams. The run is a 1.25km loop while the bike is a 2.5km loop in an enclosed environment away from the busy Thika Road.

The event costs Ksh 1500 per individual athlete,

Registration is now open for all Schools Clubs and Closes on 20th May 2010,  NO Late entries will be accepted after that

For Corporate team, there is a standard charge of Ksh 10,000  and can involve as many athletes from the same company not exceeding 5 individual athletes and 3 relay teams.

The Ksh 1500 is applicable to all ages.

For Schools and Clubs, there is a rate of Ksh 1200 per athlete. For School /Club relay, it is Ksh 2000 per team.

These are recognized Schools and Clubs which are affiliated to Triathlon Kenya.
